Getting Fat

Last week I found this spot under the coffee table that I absolutely love. Yesterday, I tried to get in to my new favorite spot and I couldn't fit! I'm definitely getting fat. -_-



I had a really busy weekend. On Saturday, I went to the vet and got my vaccinations and got my manicure. The vet said I did really well with the vaccination. Mommy Bell was very proud of me. The vet techs were so nice. They kept wanting to take me home... I almost fell for it and went with them but I know Mommy Bell would not be very happy. After the vet, I felt so lethargic. I hung out with Daddy the whole day. He must have thought I was boring.

On Sunday, I went to Mommy Bell's family's house. I had so much fun! But I misbehaved at one point and Mommy Bell had to correct me. I got to explore the backyard for the first time. It's a little dangerous right now so Mommy Bell didn't let me go roam around by myself.

First Xmas

For Xmas, I went to Mommy Bell's family's house. I met mommy's mom, dad, sisters, brother, brother-in-law and niece, Kelly. Everyone was very happy to see me and told me I was very cute, which I already know. Mommy made sure that they don't spoil me too much. I tried to be in my best behavior but sometimes I just can't help myself! Especially when we were opening presents! The wrapping papers were calling my name... I couldn't help it. I definitely gave Mommy Bell a hard time with those wrapping papers. hee~ hee~

Mommy Bell's mom seemed very fond of me. She boasted good things. She said I was cute (of course) and pet me. She wanted a picture with me so we did. Aren't I soooo cute! She said I could have all of the toys that Kelly doesn't play with anymore. I was very excited. I got so many toys for my talented chewing abilities. My favorite is the tiger.

I spent the night at Mommy Bell's family's house. It was okay but definitely not home. It was so dark at night that I got scared. I'm still a baby after all. In the afternoon of the day of Xmas, I went out to the hair salon, coffee shop and home depot with Mommy, Auntie Birdie and Mommy's mom. It was a little scary but I braved through with with Mommy Bell's help.

When Mommy Bell and I got back to our home, I took a nice lonnnggg nap. I was so tired from all the activities. Then after some food and playtime with Mommy Bell, Uncle Marc came to visit me for the first time. He got me all excited... too excited that I jumped and peed on him.... I'm sorry Uncle Marc! I'll be more careful next time. Uncle Marc is so much fun. We played, took pictures, cuddle.... ahh.. i miss Uncle Marc already. :)

My first Xmas so far was a very eventful day and filled with activities with family and friends. Mommy Bell thank everybody for making it possible and for welcoming me into the circle of family and friends with open arms.

My First Day and Second Day Home

Today is my second day home. Had an adventure with mommy and daddy. Let me tell you about it.

Yesterday, mommy and daddy came to pick me up in NJ. I wasn't sure yet, 'cause I didn't really know mommy and daddy. It was only my second time seeing them! and the first one didn't count because I was so little I couldn't see or hear. All of the sudden I was carried into the car and into the crate. I was so scared. Daddy made me feel better though because he stayed in the backseat with me the whole way. We took a little break on our way back. I'm definitely not used to the highway... plus mommy and daddy bought the wrong size collar. -_-

My trip wasn't very smooth. There was tons of traffic so I was stuck in my crate. I guess I was okay with it since I was still trying to figure out why I'm in a moving box. The roads were not very nice... so many bumps. I felt some big ones! Mommy Bell tried her best to avoid them but there were so many. By the time I got home, it was already dark. Mommy and daddy tried to let me get use to the area and to get to pee but I was way too scared, so they just carried me into the apartment. They were very comforting.

When we got into the apartment, I was still not sure. Definitely not the same open area like i was used to but it will do. Mommy already had the playpen ready for me. Of course, she didn't put me in there right away. She let me sit and get comfortable. I didn't want to go anywhere! Eventually though, I started to wander. That made mommy and daddy very happy. I drank some more water to stay hydrated.

Mommy and daddy stayed up almost all night to take me out to "do my business". I was so scared. I was less scared when the sun came up though. I was roaming around more until the stupid trash truck scared me so I was shaken and scared again. :(

I went to the vet this morning. The vet signed me off with a good bill of health. She said I had great temperament. Mommy and daddy asked a lot of questions.. I don't know why.. I'm perfect! (the vet said so!)

My Room

Mommy just finished setting up my room. It's empty now because I'm not there. It won't be so neat when I get there. :D

Eli's Coming Home Soon!

My name is Eli. I am 7 weeks and 1 day old today. Bell and Jason are driving all the way from Northern VA to NJ next Thursday. I'm happy to meet them for the second time. I heard from Mitch and Roberta that they came to see me once but I was way too little to see or hear. I was about a week old then. I'm very excited to meet my new family soon. However, it's going to be so sad to leave my current family. I'm going to miss my mommy and siblings. But I'm sure Bell and Jason will take good care of me.

Bell already bought me lots of toys and treats. Of course, she also have all the necessities ready for me. She bought me a playpen and a carrier to bring me home with. I'm so excited.

Jason is also excited. He's a little busy right now but I'm sure he'll have time for me when I'm coming back home. Daddy Jason is already wondering how big I'm going to get. He's scared that mommy Bell's going to make me fat. I'm okay with that. It's good for a little boy to have some meat on him.. right?

Mommy Bell has already told all her friends. The first friend I'm going to meet is Marc. Marc is coming to see me the Friday after I get home. He's very excited to meet me. Though, mommy Bell already told him to make sure I don't do things that will spoil me too rotten.

Then, for Christmas I'm going to meet mommy Bell's family. I hope they like me. I know mommy Bell's mom isn't too keen on mommy getting me but I'm sure she'll fall in love with my cuteness anyways. Plus, I will be super well-behaved!

After Christmas, mommy Bell's friend Sarah is going to stay with us for a couple of days til she goes back to med school. Sarah's super excited too. She's claiming that she'll be my best friend... more than with uncle Marc. I'll see about that...
